Omron 10 Series BP 786 Posted by: SRWarwick from on Received my Omron Series BP 786 last evening, so these are the very first impressions. It seems like a user friendly device though I am still discovering the various features it comes with. This device is pretty easy to operate. Out of the box, plug in the cuff, plug it in, set the date and time, and hit start. Very straightforward and easy. The enclosed quick start instructions were very clear on how to position the cuff, etc. The display is back-lit and easy to read. Overall, seems like a good buy. There's just one issue though. It works Posted by: BobMigs from on It works. Seems to be very accurate. They have software so that you can pair it to a smart phone and get a cute little graphic display. However I have been unable to find a way to print this graph or even a list of the readings to submit to the doctors office. good monitor Posted by: bill724 from on After reading reviews I decided to purchase this monitor.I work at a school and noticed that the nurse also used Omron monitors, although she has the battery models. I like the AC adapter so as to maintain date and time. The unit is very easy to operate and set up, but I haven't set up the bluetooth yet as I wasn't to happy with the feedback on it, but I might in the future.Over all I'm pleased with my purchase. Blue-tooth connectivity issue but found a solution Posted by: dpc2112 from on The blue-tooth function was extremely frustrating at first but I got it working after much trial and error. I have a Galaxy S3 running Android 4.4.2. It would "pair" without any problems but when trying to transfer readings it would consistently say that it couldn't find the bp786. I finally found another review where a guy had said that the phone cannot be connected to any other devices. I have a garmin watch that connects to my phone via blue-tooth so I turned it off to see if that would solve the problem. Once I did that the transfer worked as advertised. So... if you're phone is connected to any other blue-tooth devices, try disconnecting them if you're having issues with transfers. Overall I'm pleased with the device now that I got it working.
